PUBLIC MARKET LICENSE

General Information 
The Public Market is one of the facilities provided by the Segamat District Council. All business activities conducted in these markets must obtain license from the Segamat District Council for it to be controlled. It is an offence under section 119 Local Government Act 1976, Act 171, upon any related by-laws that if someone conducts a business without any license from the Local Authority (in this case, Segamat District Council), if found guilty can be fined of not more than RM 2000.00 or imprisonment not more than one year or both.

Application Requirements 
Each application must include the following :-

• Public Market License Application Form which is complete.
• Each form must be attached with 2 copies of a passport size photograph
• RM 7.00 Processing Fees.
